“No family plans to breakdown, and no nation plans to collapse. Tragically, in America our family unit has broken down causing a social collapse. We've compromised our moral and spiritual standards, and have failed to teach these values to our NEXT GENERATION. Don't let this lukewarm thinking rob our children of their future.”Janice Cooper

Janice Cooper, founder of Goshen, was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas. She received her formal education at the University of Texas in Austin. Over the years, she's discovered, produced, and managed the best in teen talent, including the group Bresha. This dynamic female duo is a featured attraction of Goshen's “Positive Choices” school tours and concerts.

Janice excels in patiently mentoring and developing “like-minded” hot young talent who share her goal of presenting audiences with clean and uplifting entertainment. They pour their hearts into their work and give it their all.

Janice's inspiration to do what she does comes from God. She says, “He put it into my heart that the way to serve Him was to reach out to 'the lost ones'. By this, I am referring to at-risk street kids who feel unloved and unwanted.” After some soul searching, Janice created Goshen with the goal of reaching all kids by speaking their language.

“I decided,” she says, “that the best way to achieve this would be to present wholesome, upbeat entertainment with an uplifting message of hope,”. Then reflecting for a moment, she adds,“I strive to teach young people that they can be hip and cool and still have 'strong moral values.' They're not incompatible with one another.”

Janice believes that we must instill into our children the idea that they're gifted with unique talents. We have the opportunity to help them fulfill these talents. By doing this with love, they'll duplicate our example. She says, “We drink from the same Spirit, which teaches us to LOVE ONE ANOTHER. And we must do that with our youth as well.”

Janice feels her best asset is her heart.
God reads people's hearts and is honored that He reads her's.

A symbol for the Holy Trinity and Universal Brotherhood
Janice dedicates her work to her mother, Thadine Cooper, for demonstrating God in her life and instilling that it is through faith that all things can be accomplished.
